Job Description:

Avera seeks a Surgical Technician (non-certified) to join its team, providing direct patient care and supporting a multidisciplinary team in a mission-driven organization.
Key Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures.
  
• Follow established protocols for cleaning, decontaminating, preparing and packaging, disinfecting or sterilizing and storing medical and surgical supplies and equipment.
  
  Requirements:
  
  • 
    
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
    
  • Graduate from a surgical technology program accredited through ARC/STSA in collaboration with the Commission of Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) preferred.
    
  • Graduate of a Nursing Program as a Licensed Practical Nurse preferred.
