  • Job Details
  • The CT Technologist performs computed tomography (CT) procedures under the supervision of a qualified physician.
  • Uses CT technology and techniques to assist in the diagnosis of patient medical problems for patients throughout the age continuum.
  • Performs all types of CT studies to include diagnostic and interventional procedures; practices radiation safety for patients, staff, and self.
  • Competently operates all CT equipment and support systems to include HIS, RIS, Scheduling System, PACS, teleradiography, performs and evaluates images for technical quality.
    • Job Requirements
    • Graduate from a school of radiologic technology with current certification or eligibility for certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required.
    • Certification in CT required within 24 months of hire.
    • Valid state medical radiographer license required.
    • Minimum of 2 years of hospital CT experience.
