Job Description:
A company is looking for a Sr. Staff Data Scientist -
Marketplace Algorithms.
Key Responsibilities
Lead technical development of pricing algorithms for hosts
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine pricing guidance
strategy and roadmaps
Design and evaluate pricing algorithms using advanced machine
learning techniques
Required Qualifications
Advanced degree (PhD or Masters) in Computer Science, Data Science,
Econometrics, Statistics, or a related field
12+ years of relevant industry experience (9+ with a PhD) including
2+ years in pricing or promotions
4+ years of experience in a technical leadership role with applied
scientists and economists
Hands-on experience in causal machine learning and reinforcement
learning algorithms
Prior experience in multi-sided marketplaces is preferred
