Job Description Summary: Assist with scheduling and supervision of Team Members and maintain Prepared Foods displays while supporting the Prepared Foods Team Leader and Associate Team Leader.

Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Supervise and delegate tasks to Team Members.
  
• Train Team Members in a high-performance team environment.
  
• Assist in training new Team Members.
  
• Keep cases and shelves clean, well-stocked, and properly rotated.
  
• Open and close department according to established procedures.
  
• Ensure timely breaks for Team Members.
  
• Communicate team concerns to the Team Leader and Associate Team Leader.
  
• Maintain high standards of retail execution.
  
• Foster a positive environment of teamwork and respect.
  
• Direct Team Members to satisfy customer needs.
  
• Select, train, and develop Team Members.
  
• Provide performance evaluations.
  
• Communicate WFM vision and goals.

    Physical Requirements / Working Conditions:
    
    • 
      
    • Lift up to 50 pounds.
      
    • Stand/walk 6-8 hours in an 8-hour work day.
      
    • Use hands for grasping, fine manipulation, and pushing/pulling.
      
    • Motion requires bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
      
    • Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals.
      
    • Work in temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
      
    • Ability to work in wet and dry conditions.
      
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
      
    • Use tools and equipment including knives, box cutters, and heavy machinery.
      
    • May require use of ladders.
