Job Description:
A company is looking for an Accounts Receivable Follow Up
Representative to manage follow-up on government and non-government
claims.
Key Responsibilities
Review eligibility and verify insurance benefits to generate clean
claims
Rebill rejected/denied claims and process claims status checks and
appeals
Document claim statuses and update necessary codes in the billing
system
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree or relevant
certification preferred
Minimum one year of medical billing experience required; ambulance
billing experience preferred
Knowledge of medical transportation processes and terminology
Familiarity with ICD-9 coding and government coverage
guidelines
Proficient in Accounts Receivable Billing Systems and basic
Microsoft Word and Excel
