Job Description:
A company is looking for a Funding Specialist for a 6+ month
contract position.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate with loan origination team, closing agents, and
borrowers for efficient loan processing
Review signed closing documents for accuracy and completeness, and
request fund disbursements
Propose improvements to the closing process for enhanced efficiency
and customer experience
Required Qualifications
Associate or Bachelor's degree, or 3-5 years of experience in
document drawing and/or funding
Experience as an escrow officer or insurance agent is a plus
Self-starter with excellent time management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Docs, Sheets, and Adobe
Acrobat
Experience in residential or business purpose mortgage space is
preferred but not required
