  • Great facility in Eastern Nebraska is looking for CVOR RNs to work a travel assignment.
    • Job Requirements
    • BLS, prefer ACLS
    • Must be well rounded with cardio and vascular
    • Must have open heart and endovascular experience
    • 1-2 years of experience highly preferred
    • Prefer previous travel - not required if great experience
    • Vascular hybrid preferred
    • Circulating required, scrubbing is a bonus
    • Main OR or within skillset
      • Schedule Information
      • 4-10's, 6:45-5:15 or until the case is done
      • Occasionally stay late
      • Variable day off
      • No self-scheduling
      • Depends, typically 1-2 week nights of call- 5pm-7am
      • Weekend can be 1 or 2 weekends a month
      • Need to be flexible to work holidays if needed
      • Yes - perm staff typically take call first unless traveler request call
      • Call response time: 30 min in OR dressed and ready to go

        • Unit CV OR
        • 2 dedicated heart rooms/ 1 Hybrid suite and 1-2 open surgical rooms for various cases
        • 8 to 14- varied Vascular/thoracic and heart cases scheduled each day throughout the week
        • Open heart, CABG, Valve replacements, thoracic cases, vascular, open and endo vascular, AAA, IVC filters
        • 2 leads available. They have a charge and a CV coordinator-expert resource. Service leader available as well
        • OR techs: Yes
        • EMR: Cerner- Surginet
        • Scrub Color/Dress Code: Provided
        • Unit/Department specific orientation: Up to 1 week with preceptor
          • Additional Details
          • Looking for someone that can go with the flow, jump in and be a team player when needed
          • Someone flexible and willing to pick up call as needed
