  • A large system in Nebraska/Iowa are looking for ICU RN's.
  • 12 hour shifts, 36 hours guaranteed.
  • 2 years of unit experience.
  • 13 Week contract.

      • Schedule Information
      • 12 hour shifts, 36 hours guaranteed.
      • Shifts: 0630-1830, 1830-0630.
      • Manager will make schedule based on unit needs.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:1-2 ICU, 1:4 PCU
        • Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Adults and Peds > 15 years old
        • RN required to titrate drips: Yes
        • Charge Nurse on each shift: Yes
        • Nurse aids/patient care techs on this unit: Yes
        • RT Equipment: From nasal cannula to vents
        • Tele/Monitor Techs: No techs, RNs need to interpret telemetry readings
        • Unit/department specific orientation: 2 shifts
          • Additional Details
          • Every other weekend requirement.
          • Every other or as needed holiday requirements.
          • Will float to all inpatient units, excluding Maternity/NICU.
          • Navy Blue scrub color/dress code.
          • Fast paced unit with volume flexes due to being primary tertiary hospital for the system.
          • Attributes that will make a nurse successful on this unit are the ability ask questions, a positive attitude, willingness to help others, critical thinking skills, personable, and positive attitude.
          • Team environment meant to foster high quality care and work with attendings and student providers (fellows, residents) to collaborate on care.
          • Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.
          • RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
