    • Job Requirements
    • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required.
    • Must be flexible and willing to float and work when needed.
    • Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:2-3 for adults, 1:2-4 for Peds.
    • Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Adults and Pediatrics, sepsis, post-stent, pacemaker placement, stroke, vascular cases, renal failure, heart failure, respiratory distress.
    • RNs required to titrate drips.
    • Common titratable &/or set rate drips include any cardiac drip, insulin, sedation.
    • RNs required to read and interpret tele/monitor equipment.
      • Schedule Information
      • 13 Weeks contract, Every other Weekend/Holiday.
      • Shifts & Scheduling available are 0630-1830, 1830-0630.
      • Weekend Requirements: Every other.
      • Holiday Requirements: Rotating based on weekend group.
      • Floating Requirements: Typically to PCU, possibly to MedSurg.
      • How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation?: 3 shifts.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Department: ICU RN.
        • - Are there nurse aids/patient care techs on this unit? Ratios? Duties?: Health Support Tech M-F 0800-1630.
        • - Are there Tele/Monitor Techs on this unit? RNs required to read their own strips? What brand are the tele monitors?: RNs required to read and interpret.
          • Additional Details
          • RN's not approved for blocked scheduling or same schedule/shifts.
          • # of Beds: 33 beds, average daily census is 16.
          • RT Equipment include: Nasal cannula to vent.
          • Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.
          • RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
