• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
• RNs must have critical certifications to perform duties on unit.
  • Job Details
  • A large system in Nebraska/Iowa are looking for ICU RN's.
  • 12 hour shifts, 36 hours guaranteed.
  • 2 years of unit experience.
  • 13 Week contract.
    • Job Requirements
    • ICU RN with 2 years of unit experience.
    • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications.
    • Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Vasopressors, paralytics, narcotics, sedation, antiarrhythmics.
    • Ability to titrate drips required.
    • Critical thinking skills and ability to read and interpret centralized telemetry monitoring needed.
      • Schedule Information
      • Shifts are 0630-1830, 1830-0630.
      • Every other weekend required.
      • Holiday requirements as needed based on unit needs.
      • Self-scheduling or block scheduling may be available, but manager will make schedule based on unit needs.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • # of Beds: 34.
        • Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:1-2 ICU, 1:4 PCU.
        • 2 shifts of unit/department specific orientation.
        • Departments: Med Surg ICU RN.
        • Common diagnoses/Types of patients include adults and Peds > 15 years old.
        • Duties of nurse aids/patient care techs and RN equipment requirements.
          • Additional Details
          • RNs will attend RRTs and Codes.
          • Float to all inpatient units, excluding Maternity/NICU.
          • Scrub Color/Dress Code: Navy Blue.
          • Fast-paced unit with volume flexes.
          • Team environment to foster high-quality care and collaboration with attendings and student providers.
          • 50 miles radius rule in effect.
