  • Job Details
  • A large system in Nebraska/Iowa are looking for a night ICU RN. 12 hour shifts, 36 hours guaranteed. 2 years of unit experience.
    • Job Requirements
    • 2 years of unit experience
    • RNs required to titrate drips
    • RNs must read and interpret tele/monitor techs
      • Schedule Information
      • 12 hour shifts
      • 36 hours guaranteed
      • Shifts are 0630-1900, 1830-0700
      • Every other weekend
      • Holiday requirements vary based on unit needs
      • Self-scheduling and block scheduling may be available
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:2, with variations based on patient conditions
        • Intensivist in house 24/7
        • Specific orientation required for unit/department
          • Additional Details
          • ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications and experience necessary
          • Experience with various patient conditions like COPD, pneumonia, CVA, TIA, DKA, sepsis, CHF, STEMI, neuro required
          • Charge nurse and nurse aids/patient care techs available on unit
          • 24/7 critical care coverage
          • E-ICU staffed with nurse and APRN 24/7
          • Duties include working with Vents, BiPAPs
          • Navy Blue scrub color/dress code
          • Floating to PCU and Medical floors as required
          • Radius Rule: 50 miles from facility
