  • Heart & Vascular Unit - 7HVU is a 49-bed unit. It is considered a specialty medical/surgical unit that is fast paced and will provide growth in professional knowledge and expertise in the care delivery of our cardiovascular patients.
  • The staff will care for specialty patients, such as stable heart and lung transplants, and Ventricular Assist Devices (LVADs).
  • The Cardiac Vascular Unit is a sister unit to the Cardiac Progressive Care Unit.
  • Ratios are 1:5 days/1:6 nights. Depending on staffing, night ratios can be 1:7 (this is rare, but facility wants travelers to be aware).
  • Medical Surgical/Telemetry RN
  • 2 years of prior Telemetry experience pref (must have 2 years exp in large, urban hospital)
  • Drips are required on all floors
  • First timers NOT accepted (will consider if the traveler has 2 years of experience at a Level l Academic Medical Center)
  • BLS, ACLS, NIH required
  • EPIC charting experience required
  • Will float within scope to meet facility needs (this includes potentially floating to Bellevue campus)
  • 100% NICOTINE FREE FACILITY
  • Locals Accepted: NO (candidate must be more than 100 miles from facility)
  • Pending license accepted: Yes, but if license is not IN HAND at the time of submission then traveler will be booked six weeks out.
  • RTO restrictions: Up to two weeks of RTO permitted. RTO must be submitted with application. Additional requests after confirmation at manager discretion.
  • Weekend Requirement: Two weekends in a four-week schedule period (Saturday/Sunday for day shift, Friday/Saturday for night shift).
