Join a state of the art dermatology and aesthetics clinic with over 20 years of experience!Sutton Dermatology + Aesthetics is a thriving, physician-owned dermatology practice consisting of four dermatologists, advanced practice providers and experienced support staff.We are looking for a patient focused Dermatology Aide to join our team.We offer a comprehensive training program, competitive wage, and excellent benefits.Hours: Full time, 80 hours per pay period (2 weeks), Monday through Friday, with availability and flexibility between the hours of 7:30 am and 6:15 pm.The Dermatology Aide assists Dermatology Assistants and Providers within the scope of their certification.Job duties include but are not limited to:Calls patient from waiting room and escorts them to exam room, preparing them for specialized testing.Educates patients on specialized treatment medication process.Performs suture removals.Assists with sterile processing of instrumentsTransports specimens from patient rooms to Histology lab.Ensures cleanliness of exam rooms and maintains with necessary supplies and materials.Serves as an assistant to the medical provider, as directed.Documents information in medical record as directed by the provider.High School diploma, or equivalentMedication Aide licensure required within 90 days of employment.CPR/BLS required within 60 days of hire.Previous medical experience preferred.Previous experience in dermatology, or aesthetics field preferred.Must be patient focused, a self-starter, dependable, and a team player.Position will work in general dermatology as well as our aesthetic center.Sutton Dermatology + Aesthetics has a competitive benefits package to include:Health insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceLife insurancePaid time offTuition ReimbursementFlexible Spending Accounts401k with a company matchUniform ReimbursementShort and Long Term DisabilityOnsite Fitness Equipment
