  • A large system in Nebraska/Iowa are looking for Day and Night ICU RN's. Valid RN license in the US with clean record. 12 hour shifts, 2 years of unit experience. BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS
    • Job Requirements
    • Valid RN license in the US with clean record
    • 2 years of unit experience
    • ICU experience with experience in drips, vents, bipaps
    • RN's required to titrate drips: vasopressors, sedation (levo, neo, cardene, precedex, propofol, etc)
      • Schedule Information
      • Shifts & Scheduling - 1830-0700. every third weekend
      • No self-scheduling. Cannot guarantee block scheduling
      • Weekend Requirements- every third weekend
      • Holiday Requirements- 4th of July
      • No call or standby requirement
        • Unit Specific Information
        • # of Beds- 16
        • Nurse:Patient Ratios- 2:1
        • Common diagnoses/Types of patients- Medical ICU- sepsis, resp failure, stroke, MI
        • How many years' experience required?- preferred 2 years
        • Previous travel experience required?- preferred
        • Are RNs required to read their own strips?- Monitor tech will read but nurse but be able to read and verify
        • What brand are the tele monitors?- draegers
          • Additional Details
          • Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity
          • RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13-week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions
          • Open Book exam on skills learned during orientation - must receive a 90% to pass
