The building itself was formerly a popular cinema, which opened in 1911 and reflects its rich history throughout the guest experience.The hotel has 109 rooms on six floors and will feature event and meeting areas, a Levantine restaurant, a street caf--, and a rooftop bar with a view of the Sydney City Skyline. • Manage and coordinate daily, monthly quarterly and annual reporting activities for the region.
• Organize and execute the region's budget process and reforecast.
• Oversee the delivery of ad-hoc financial information as requested by owners and C-level staff.
• Monitor, review and provide commentary on P&L revenue/expense and balance sheet reports, cash balances and cash forecasts.
• Provide financial modeling and analysis in support of new business, cost savings, ROI, and key metrics.
• Together with the VP of Operations, you'll coordinate the creation of the hotel budget and the assessment of the reports for the monthly finance meetings.QualificationsWe are looking for you - with personality and that certain something:
  • Pre Opening experience would be an advantage.
  • Australia experience, preferably in Sydney in a lifestyle brand, or a similar background in a premium hotel brand would be advantageous.
  • Several years of professional experience in finance and controlling, ideally at a hotel or catering facility.
  • You'll bring exactitude, service orientation and team spirit to your job, so that you can give your colleagues optimal support in negotiating the maze of figures.
  • You're a doer - and even if you do it wrong sometimes, you openly admit it.
