of unparalleled luxury.Job DescriptionPosition Summary:Rixos
Hotels, part of the All-Inclusive Collection, is seeking a highly
experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our property in the
UAE. This role is designed for an accomplished leader with an
extensive background in the hospitality industry, specifically
within the All-Inclusive Concept. The successful candidate will
have at least 2-3 years of experience as a General Manager in the
Middle East luxury hospitality segment, with a demonstrated ability
to elevate service standards and drive business performance.As the
General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects
of operations, including but not limited to guest services, team
member management, revenue generation, and brand representation.
The role reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer for Rixos
and All-Inclusive Collection. You will play a critical role in
shaping the guest experience, managing operational excellence, and
ensuring alignment with Rixos' brand pillars, goals and values.Key
Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership:Oversee and manage all hotel operations,
ensuring the highest level of service and operational efficiency.
Develop, implement, and manage systems to meet the daily
operational needs of the property.
- Guest Experience Management:Ensure that all aspects of the
guest experience align with Rixos' luxury brand standards. Lead a
team that continuously exceeds guest expectations through
exceptional service, hospitality, and attention to detail.
- All-Inclusive Concept Management:Leverage your expertise in the
All-Inclusive Concept to drive and optimize guest satisfaction,
operational processes, and profitability. Collaborate with food &
beverage, entertainment, and leisure teams to deliver a
comprehensive and seamless guest experience.
- Strategic Financial Management:Develop and manage annual
budgets, forecasting, and revenue targets. Analyze financial
performance and implement strategies to ensure profitability while
maintaining the luxury standards of the property.
- Team Member Leadership & Development:Build, mentor, and
motivate a high-performing management team. Foster a positive work
environment by promoting a culture of excellence, teamwork, and
professional development. Ensure that training programs are
implemented and tailored to enhance the team's capabilities.
- Brand & Reputation Management:Represent the brand both
internally and externally, ensuring alignment with corporate
standards and maintaining the Rixos reputation for excellence.
Handle guest concerns, media relations, and community involvement
to safeguard the property's brand identity.
- Compliance & Standards:Ensure compliance with local
regulations, health and safety standards, and environmental
sustainability practices. Uphold Rixos standards for quality,
service, and operational procedures across all departments.
- Collaboration with Ownership & Corporate Executive
Team:Regularly report to the property ownership and the Corporate
Executive Office for Rixos and All-Inclusive Collection, providing
strategic insights, financial reports, operational updates, and
recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Market Positioning & Sales:Work with the sales and marketing
teams to strengthen market positioning, increase brand visibility,
and develop strategies for increasing occupancy and average daily
rate (ADR) in line with the business goals.QualificationsKey
Requirements:
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a General Manager within
the luxury hospitality sector, particularly in the Middle
East.
- Proven track record of successfully managing operations,
profitability, and guest satisfaction in a luxury hotel
environment.
- In-depth knowledge and experience with the All-Inclusive
Concept in hospitality, particularly in upscale properties.
- Experience working in the UAE and familiarity with local
regulations, culture, and market dynamics.
- Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Business
Administration, or a related field.
- Leadership Skills:
- Exceptional leadership abilities with a focus on team member
development, engagement, and operational excellence.
- Ability to inspire, guide, and motivate cross-functional teams
to meet both short-term and long-term business objectives.
- Financial Acumen:
- Strong understanding of financial management, including
budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
- Proven ability to drive profitability while maintaining brand
standards.
- Communication & Interpersonal Skills:
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and
verbal.
- Ability to effectively communicate with senior management, team
members, guests, and external stakeholders.
- Cultural Sensitivity & Adaptability:
- Familiarity with the UAE's cultural landscape and ability to
operate in a multicultural environment.
- High level of emotional intelligence, with the ability to
manage diverse teams and maintain a harmonious work
