Job Description:
A company is looking for a Director, Quality Assurance to
oversee the Quality Assurance Specialist team and enhance coding
compliance and quality assurance processes.
Key Responsibilities
Directs the management of quality assurance programs, policies, and
resources
Implements training and development opportunities for QA staff
based on performance data
Collaborates with various teams to identify trends and provide
educational feedback to improve coding accuracy
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Bachelor's or Graduate degree in Healthcare Administration, Health
Information Management, or related field preferred
Coding credential required from AHIMA/AAPC (RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC,
or CIC)
Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Health Information
Management field
Minimum of 5 years of inpatient coding and auditing experience
required
Extensive knowledge of Coding Compliance and Standards for Ethical
Coding
